Not all wildlife removal companies are the same. Some have experience with bat removal projects, and are familiar with the proper methods for
bat exclusion. But others use incorrect techniques, such as bat traps, summer exclusions, or worse, fumigants. Do your research before you hire someone! I personally recommend our field technician for bat control in Riverside.
We serve the towns of Riverside, Glen Avon, Rubidoux, Mira Loma, Pedley, Norco, Woodcrest, Colton, Grand Terrace, Redlands, and Moreno Valley.
Before you hire anyone, including our tech at 951-666-2555, talk to them, and make sure that they understand what they are doing, and that they have experience. Be sure that they do abide by the principles I outlined above. This is not just for the sake of the bats - I'm no tree hugger - it's for the sake of doing the job correctly, for you and your property. The fact that it's good for the bats as well is a lucky coincidence. And really, bats are good animals, which I'm sure you realize. I hope you have a good experience with your Riverside bat control project. You can email me personally if you have any problems with our tech, and I will talk to him, but I doubt that will be necessary. Good luck!

David, We bought a house this past November. No signs of a bat until today. Working in the basement my husband removed a peg board from a damp cement basement room. It must have disturbed a bat because an hour later there was a bat flying around the living room and our 1 year olds playroom. Do you know what species is prevalent in southern California? I went to get a blanket and broom to bat it down and it disappeared. We have no idea if it flew upstairs, or if it's in the playroom which is the last room I saw it flying around. It's a two-story home so we have our bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. It's scary with a one year old and a dog. Will a bat bite a child or a dog, or us while sleeping. We can't find it. Is there a good possbility there is a colony. There are additional peg boards which we felt best not to remove until we know what we should do. Any advice you can give us would be appreciated. And as soon as possible. Seems bats like basements in Minnesota, not only attics. Is there a certain bat prevalent to Riverside CA area? Thank you.
