Not all wildlife removal companies are the same. Some have experience with bat removal projects, and are familiar with the proper methods for
bat exclusion. But others use incorrect techniques, such as bat traps, summer exclusions, or worse, fumigants. Do your research before you hire someone! I personally recommend our field technician for bat control in Charlotte.
We service the greater Charlotte NC area, including the towns of Lake Norman, Gastonia, Matthews, Mint Hill, Ballantyne, Pineville, Cornelius, Wildlife Removal USAson, and more! We are located near the border of South Carolina, and our service range includes many SC towns, including Rock Hill, Lake Wylie, Ft. Mill, & Lancaster, SC.
Before you hire anyone, including our tech at 704-419-8169, talk to them, and make sure that they understand what they are doing, and that they have experience. Be sure that they do abide by the principles I outlined above. This is not just for the sake of the bats - I'm no tree hugger - it's for the sake of doing the job correctly, for you and your property. The fact that it's good for the bats as well is a lucky coincidence. And really, bats are good animals, which I'm sure you realize. I hope you have a good experience with your Charlotte bat control project. You can email me personally if you have any problems with our tech, and I will talk to him, but I doubt that will be necessary. Good luck!

Wildlife Services - I am looking for someone that can help us with a problem with bats. We have lived in our home for 32 years and have heard "noises" in a wall for years. But in the past 15 or so, we have been surprised by one bat getting into our living area each year. Mostly it was only in late August. But one year it was May, and last year it was January. Can you let me know what you charge for an inspection? And then do you provide an estimate of the costs for removal? And is there a better time of the year for you to do this work (I assume the bats are hibernating right now.) Bob
We have an old barn that we have constructed a house within...leaving a portion of the old barn intact, outside the new living envelope. We walk from the exterior of the barn, thru the old space into the new front door and new home. We have at least one, maybe two bats living in the old barn....there are bat caves nearby that they return to in winter but we don't want them with us the rest of the time...they mess up all my windows and leave mouse like droppings. The roof is slate but in good condition and we thought we had all holes blocked up...we need help desperately. We contacted your Southern NC company....a guy came out, charged us nothing but said he couldn't help us. But your advertising says you get any bat from anywhere...help!!! Cindy
I want to thank you for your very informative web page. Last night our neighbor knocked on our door at dusk to show us what was flying out of our attic. A TON of bats. I immediately googled "bats in the attic" and came across your page. I admit to looking for a fast and not very bat friendly solution to our problem. Instead, we called one of the companies listed on your site. We're in Charlotte, NC, and you had a company from Charlotte listed, so that's who we called. They came right out within hours of our call this morning and were professional and told us exactly what your site told us. We feel like they are very fairly priced, given the amount of work they will be doing. They are coming out Monday AM to start the process. I was feeling rather humiliated to be having a bat problem, but the man who came out here showed us some bat droppings on two of our neighbors homes, which he said are very likely to have bats, too. And I must admit to that making me feel a bit better. Again, thank you for your page. It's a GREAT service you have provided. It was especially helpful to know who to call, as we would have had absolutely no idea.
